05 Jan Winter plans in Barcelona
Winter has arrived, a pleasant period for all those who love wearing layers and layers of clothes, and months of torture for those who hate cold, and are counting the days to be back on the beach.
Whatever you like, winter has lots of plans to enjoy the city, here we propose some:
Hot chocolate
There is a better winter plan than Drinkin a good hot chocolate after a city walk? There are lots of options, moust classic, “La Pallaresa” and “Dulcine”a in Petritxol street, “Granja Viardell” or “la nena”located in the neighborhood of Gracia and if you want a total chocolate experience you can visit the chocolate museum.
Museums
Interested in culture? Barcelona has fantastic places to culture our minds. Cosmo Caixa with its new Universe room is a good option, the MACBA, the MNAC or the Picasso museum with the temporary exhibition “Picasso poet” until March 1st.
Shopping centres
If you don’t want to be cold and make the most of this January’s sales, the shopping centres are a perfect option. Moreover, after a long day of shopping, it’s best to rest a bit and get your strength back by eating at Abrassame to round off the day, at the dome of the shopping center, “Las Arenas”
Winter celebrations.
One of the traditional ones is the one celebrated in the neighborborhood of “Gracia” on the last weekend of January for St. Anton with bonfires, correfocs and popular meal. And another popular celebration is Santa Eulalia, on 12 February also known as the winter festivals with castellers, sardanas, gegants and correfocs
Netflix, blanket, and pizza
And if winter is not really for you , this is the most comfortable “plan”. Order a Pizza in Amassame and by the time you have decided which film to watch, the delivery man is knocking your door.
We hope you enjoy the winter!
