08 May Panoramic views of Barcelona
Barcelona, 12:00 noon, spring sun, What do we do? Does anyone have a plan? Let’s go to a viewpoint to enjoy the panoramic views of Barcelona!
In Barcelona we have infinite options, wonderful natural terraces and wonderful architectural terraces where we can enjoy panoramic views of Barcelona from above. The tricky thing will be to agree with who you go and choose which one to go to.
One of the most famous architectural terraces in Barcelona is the Bunkers del Carmel. It is normal that it housed anti-aircraft guns during the Civil War, from there you can see all of Barcelona from a bird’s eye view.
Do you know where you will have some great photos for your Instagram? At Park Güell! It was designed by the greatest exponent of Catalan modernism, Antoni Gaudí. The park reflects the artistic fullness of the architect. You will find an area that houses an esplanade where you can contemplate the magic of Gaudí that stands before the buildings on the horizon and the sea, creating a picture of pure art that invites you to dream.

Park Güell
The Tibidabo, the emblematic amusement park of the city located on the top of the mountain, inaugurated in the year 1901. It is the oldest operating park in Spain and the third in Europe. A perfect plan to spend the day with family and / or friends. In addition to having a good time, you can enjoy some great views, watching how the clouds mix with the sea of Barcelona.
The Collserola Tower. A 288-meter-high communications tower located on Cerro de la Vilana at 445.5 meters above sea level, is very close to Tibidabo. Inaugurated on June 27, 1992 and created by the architectural firm Foster and Partners. They created a new icon for the new Barcelona that emerged as a result of the Olympic Games, thus covering the needs in telecommunications services. According to Norman Foster, this new icon should be a new symbol for the city, a representation of its new stage and its future, an example of maximum freedom and a tower that is constantly in place and at the same time changing according to the moment and perspective.
Another spectacular viewpoint is the stairs of the MNAC museum, with views of Plaza España and Tibidabo. We are looking forward to the old normality to be able to see the magic fountain of Montjuïc again in all its splendor, a delight to behold.
Very close to the MNAC museum we have the Las Arenas viewpoint. The shopping center has become one of the emblematic buildings of Barcelona. It has kept the original structure of the old bullring built in 1900 in the Neomudéjar style. On its top floor it houses an imposing viewpoint, where you can scrutinize the city from the heights and at 360º, you will enjoy impressive panoramic views of Barcelona. Those of us who frequent Las Arenas know that it can be a bit confusing to get to the top floor, so we will give you two tips so that you can reach the top without getting lost. One is to access through the entrance of the Diputación Street where you will find some escalators that go directly to the sky. Another is for the exterior glass elevator, it costs € 1.50, but in Abrassame you can deduct the cost if you have a snack and / or eat with us, we discount the amount on your bill just by presenting the elevator ticket.
In Barcelona we have many more viewpoints to glimpse the city that we have left in the inkwell. What is your favourite terrace to contemplate the panoramic views of Barcelona from the heights?
